Blog 5 << Changes to my study programme

 Hi everyone! Today I'm going to talk yo you about my career and the changes I would like to see made to syllabus. 

Although I particulary like most of the subjects thet exist in the course, there are certain subjects, especially those that we share with journalism, that we consider unnecessary for our future in the television or film industry. We know that these subjects help us to communicate in different ways. I think it is in those particular ways that we should be taught. Maybe it is not necessary to take these subjects out but reduce their schedules so that we can dedicate ourselves to our time-consuming projects or to introduce other subjects.

At the beginning of our career it is quite practical but as the semesters go by these subjects decrease. I think it is very important the we continue to reinforce the practical areas of the couse as this is what we are going to use the most in the future. In terms of the syllabus, I would take out some subjects that I consider unnecessary and reinforce other subjects. I would also update the technologies, although different equipment is not used in the industry. I would also increase the amount of equipment available for the whole course, as on numerous occacions equipment is not provied because there is not enough for everyone. 

I think thata there are many things that need to be improved in the course of study, especially the syllabus and the study methods. Not to metion the demands of the students in terms of infrastructure, financial support for the development of semester projects and the lack of equipment and the updating of equipment.

Blog 4 << Time travel

Hi everyone! Today I am going to talk to you about what time travel I would like to do.

I have always been very curious about what is going to happen in the future but at the same time I am afraid to know what is going to happen in the world in the future. That's why I prefer to travel to the past , more specifically to the 60's. In Chile this time was called the decade of change because in Chile as well as in the rest of the world events were happening that changed the history of each country.

I would like to travel to this time but specifically in the United States because at an artistic level it was a very beautiful time to live. Although at that time this country was in different international conflicts the arts did not stop growing because of these conflicts. Also at this time the feminist movement began, which I consider to very important until today and which achieved many af the rights that we women have today.

As Isaid before, on an artistic level, it was a very good year sinde it is in this decade that different music groups emerged that are among the most important worlwide. Also in the cinema classics are released and the world of cinema continues to grow, especially the Hollywood industry. 

I would like to travel to this era because I consider that it has to be a unique experience to live different historical events both in Chile and in the rest of the world. I have also seen this era reflected in different movies and how they represent the aesthetics af the time makes me wanto to visit this decade.

Blog 3 >> My dream job

Hi everyone! Today I am going to tell you about my dream job.

My dream job has to do with what I am studying at the moment. Since I was a little girl I liked video editing and everything related to it. That's why I started studying filmmaking. I would also love to be a photographer but my dream is to edit films. I think that since I started studying filmmaking. I've been more into film editing. I don't expect a big salary. I just hope to be able to live from what I like and that I can eat with that. 

I hope to be able to make a living from film editing and keep learning. When I finish college I want to continue studying and specialize more in film or video editing.

Also, during the years that I have been studying I have met many people in the industry and I am very encouraged to know their stories. It is very interesting to know what people in the industry had to go through to get to where they are and to edit high quality films.

Film editing is one of rhe most important parts of a film because it is the one that gives shape to what we want to narrate. I consider ir a very big responsibility to shape a film, that's why I would like to work in that area of of filmmaking.

Blog 2 << The best concert ever

 Hi guys!! Today I going to talk about the best concert ever

I have loved music since I was a child. In my family music ess very important and I grew up listening to different types of music.

I haven't had so many opportunities to go to concerts I have been to I have enjoyed them a lot. One of the concerts I enjoyed the most was the boyband CNCO. This concert was before the pandemic and it was one of the last con cert where the boyband was in full since few years later the announced their separation.The concert was held at the Movistar Arena. CNCO performed countless times in this place. I remember that day with a lot of nervousness, it was the firts concert I would see of this band that I liked since 2017.

CNCO is a band that was created in 2015 thanks to a reality show called "La Banda". The band is composed by Erick, Christopher, Zabdiel, Richard and Joel. One of their most famous songs is "Reggaeton Lento" from their first album "Primera Cita". This boyband is known for their lyrics and dances.

Blog 1 << A country I would like to visit

Hi everyone! Today I going to talk about the country I would like to visit.

I really like countries with a lot of nature but I have a dream is visit England more specific London. This city is very beautiful and I watch different movies that are set in that city and in that country. I know of England different things. Obviously I know the classic turistic attractions (London Eye, Big Ben, Hyde Park and others) and I would love to visit all these places. I also rrelate this city directly to what I am studying because England has one of the largest film industries in the world.

In this city I would like mainly visit many cities, different museums, monuments, palaces and others. Also England is a country where I would like study English because I really like british english and I would like study about more of cinema and what the film industry is like in this country.
